Donald Sanborn III (1992)
Instrumentation: Synthesizer or Electronic Keyboard with
Harp sound effect. A concert version exists for solo Piano.
In my undergraduate college days, I was asked by a
Cinema major named Craig Smith to compose the score for one
of his student films. In the film, a young man who has
broken up with his girlfriend reflects how much happier his
life was when she was a part of it. Flashbacks show his
memories of their times together. Finally, he resolves to
approach her, and the couple is reunited.
